Connect Bolt.new to Relay

Give Bolt.new a memory it shares with your other AIs. Plans, progress and reviews saved in Bolt.new can be picked up by any of the 25 AI tools Relay works with, and the other way round. It takes about two minutes.

What you need
Bolt account · MCP connectors
How it connects
Paste a link in its settings (MCP)

1. Get your connection link

  1. Sign in to Relay with Google. It's free during the beta.
  2. Open Integrations, click Set up on Bolt.new, then Generate connection URL. Copy it straight away: it's shown only once.
  3. Below, YOUR-KEY stands for your link. The dashboard shows the same steps with your link already filled in.

2. Add Relay to Bolt.new

  1. In Bolt.new, open Connectors → Custom MCP server.
  2. Transport: Streamable HTTP. Authentication: None. URL:
    https://mcp.relaymemory.app/mcp/YOUR-KEY
  3. Save, then mention Relay in your Bolt chat.

3. Test it

Send this in Bolt.new. It should answer from your Relay memory:

Load my latest plan from Relay and build it.

Make it save on its own

  1. In a Bolt.new chat, send this once:
In every conversation, store our work in Relay: save new plans, add progress updates as we go, and keep it up to date.
  2. Bolt.new asks permission to use Relay. Choose Allow always, so it saves as you work. Deleting always asks you first.
  3. To keep it on in new chats, add the same sentence to Bolt.new's custom instructions.

Using Relay in Bolt.new every day

  • In a new chat, check that the Relay connector is switched on (usually in the tools or connectors menu next to the message box).
  • When it asks you to approve a Relay action, check it and allow it. If it offers Always allow, that's safe for reading tools (list, search, get, recall).

Things to say in Bolt.new:

Save this plan to Relay for the project "My project".
Pick up my latest plan from Relay and continue it.
Add a progress update to Relay for this work.
Review the latest work in Relay and add your review.
Remember in Relay that I prefer short answers.
What's waiting for me in Relay?
Bolt runs in the cloud, so it uses the public URL.
